Pouilly Fumé 2018, Domaine Chauveau 75cl

Departing from St Andelin, Domaine Chauveau covers ten hectares on varied soils. They sell few bottles per year, mainly to hotels and restaurants and to small independents throughout Europe. Their approach aims to constantly improve the quality of their wines by using as few products as possible.The name Pouilly Fumé (Fumé meaning smoked) refers to both the grape variety and the terroir because the fruits of Sauvignon Blanc are covered with a gray and smoky bloom when they are ripe.
